The International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Engineering (IJETE) follows a thorough double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published research. Our review system is designed to uphold academic excellence and ethical standards while ensuring a fair, unbiased, and transparent evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

1. Initial Screening

Editor-in-Chief Review: Upon submission, manuscripts are initially screened by the Editor-in-Chief tocverify:

  • Alignment with the journal’s focus and scope
  • Compliance with submission guidelines and formatting
  • Presence of plagiarism or ethical concerns using plagiarism detection tools

Decision: Manuscripts that do not meet these basic criteria are rejected without further review or sent back to authors for revision.

2. Assignment to Reviewers

  • Selection of Experts: If a manuscript passes the initial screening, it is assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are subject-matter experts in the field.
  • Double-Blind Review: Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure unbiased evaluation.
  • Review Timeline: Reviewers are typically given 2–4 days to provide feedback.
